Description

Raga is a soulful three-piece gallery-wrapped canvas triptych celebrating the timeless rhythm, melody, and cultural beauty of Indian classical music. Drawing aesthetic inspiration from Indian miniature art traditions and classical jharokha architecture, this trio depicts three dedicated musicians seated gracefully within arched palace alcoves, captured in the flow of divine harmony.

The triptych unfolds across three melodic portraits:

Left Panel (Santoor / Swar): A graceful female musician draped in deep royal blue silk, seated cross-legged playing the intricate strings of an Indian santoor/swar mandal within an arched jharokha over decorative latticework.
Center Panel (Bansuri / Venu): A tranquil male flutist dressed in a white dhoti, seated serenely in padmasana, playing the classical bamboo flute (bansuri) against an emerald-bordered arch resting on starry turquoise tilework.
Right Panel (Tabla / Taal): A poised female percussionist adorned in peacock-teal drapery and traditional gajra, rhythmically playing a pair of classical tablas against an ornate terracotta jali balustrade.

Each musician is framed by an elegant multi-foiled temple arch looking out into warm terracotta alcoves and lush palm foliage. Crafted as frameless gallery-wrapped canvases, each panel wraps cleanly around sturdy wooden stretcher bars, offering a sophisticated blend of traditional Indian folk-classical heritage and contemporary gallery presentation. Raga brings musical warmth, artistic depth, and a serene cadence to modern living rooms, music lounges, reception areas, and cultural spaces.
