Product Description

Sakhi is a five-panel celebration of feminine grace, Indian heritage and timeless storytelling.

Inspired by the visual language of Raja Ravi Varma and reimagined through the architectural beauty of the traditional jharokha, each panel feels like a glimpse into another world. Graceful women, classical Indian details, soft landscapes and ornamental arches come together across five tall compositions, creating a sense of depth and quiet storytelling.

The name Sakhi, meaning a close female companion or confidante, reflects the intimate character of the collection. Each panel feels like a different moment, a different woman, a different story glimpsed through an old Indian window.

The muted palette of dusty rose, terracotta, soft teal and dusky plum gives the classical imagery a contemporary character. The result is a statement piece that can sit beautifully in both traditional Indian interiors and modern homes.

The 9 × 36 inch vertical format gives every panel the character of a tall architectural window. Display all five together with an even gap to create one continuous gallery installation, or use the composition as a dramatic statement across a wide living-room, bedroom or dining wall.

How to Style Sakhi

Sakhi works particularly well on a wide, uninterrupted wall where the five vertical panels have enough room to breathe.

Place the set above a sofa, behind a console, along a dining wall or across a large bedroom wall. Keep a consistent gap between each panel to emphasise the jharokha-inspired framing and allow the five pieces to read as one continuous visual story.

Five panels. Five glimpses. One story of Indian femininity.

Sakhi is not simply a set of paintings. It is a window into an imagined world of grace, beauty and memory.
